We are a nonprofit organization dedicated in assisting families with affordable and low income housing.  Our nonprofit organization has been designed to operate under Christian principles and we believe that we should not take advantage of anyone.  We need the financial support of individuals, businesses, foundations, and organizations to accomplish our goal.  Individuals and families that qualify for our program will have to attend a financial and educational program which will train occupants the responsibility of owning a home and managing their finances.  The education and financial classes will be given at no expense or cost to the participants.  The nonprofit organization will purchase the land and do all the infrastructure and improvements to the property.  Occupants will be required to occupy their home for 7 years before they’re able to put the home on the market.  The nonprofit organization will not impose any requirements on home sellers as long as they have occupied their home for 7 years.  The nonprofit organization will build the home but the individual or family must obtain approval through a financial institution for the home purchase.  The nonprofit organization board of directors will determine the price of the home to be financed based on your income.  The nonprofit organization does have financial institutions we work with to gather information about the rules and regulations pertaining to our nonprofit organization but you are not required to use them.  The family or individuals will have the right to choose whatever institutions they desire.  Currently our program operates in the State of Virginia but we do plan to extend the program to other states.  We will need to perform the proper paper work and obtain state approval. In order to start us on our mission, we would like to reach 7,000 pledges in the following areas:  Westmoreland County, Gloucester County, King and Queen County, King William County, Lancaster County, Mathews County, Middlesex County, Northumberland County, Richmond County, Richmond, Virginia, Caroline County, King George County, Spotsylvania County, Stafford County, Fredericksburg, Orange County, Warren County, Essex County, Charlottesville, Virginia, Rappahannock County, Prince William County, Henrico County, Manassas, Virginia, Chesterfield, Virginia, Norfolk, Virginia, Virginia Beach, Williamsburg, Virginia, and Madison County.  If your county or city is not listed above in the State of Virginia and we receive a donation from you, the Faith National Family Ministry board reserves the right to add additional counties and cities as the situation warrants.  We can accept donations from other states but we are not allowed to do business in another state until the proper paper work is filed and approved.  We do encourage individuals, businesses, foundations, and organizations from other states to donate to this program.  This will allow available funding for projects in other states once we have completed the approval process.  The nonprofit organization will post the beginning and completed projects along with the estimated and final cost on our website.  This will ensure effective communication with our supporters to keep you informed of our organizational accomplishments.
